The 4th of July weekend is usually a bustle of activity for political campaigns. But as you know, Charlie Brown is not your usual candidate and this is not your usual campaign. This weekend, Charlie has barnstormed the 4th District. From events in Lake Tahoe, Lincoln, Roseville, Grass Valley, Auburn and today Alturas, Charlie is proving that he is not taking the constituents of the 4th District for granted.

In response to Charlie's tour, Southern California politician Tom McClintock responded by appearing in the Lincoln 4th of July parade and promising to visit the town of Graeagle (pop. 831) on Sunday.
